I've got 3 in flower in about 2gal of medium each. My goal is to keep them small this run and grow the best ones out with monster clones next run.

I've never flowered in 2gal bags but it's happening whether I want it to or not. I'm outta medium so I'll just sit back n see how they do.

Cannabis is a pretty touch old plant.
If i was growing with salts I wouldn't be too worried. I'd use coconut and 2 gallon grow bags and probably do well. But I'm an organic grower. But I think as long as I am sticking g to smaller auto varieties, I should be fine in the 3 gallon pots. I think I'm going to give the grow dots a try in the 3 gallon pots.

That coco is some fantastic stuff isn't it.

Ya may be an organic grower but salts are what drive the life in plants. Organics have many salts. They are just slower to release. Synthetic man made salts are readily available but don't stick around as long as the organics.

I kinda like it that way. Ive usually got a pretty good idea what's in the pot nutrient wise with using salts. But when using the organics I don't know and if I run into issues I can't just dig out the problem..lol. With salts I can just make an adjustment and roll with it.

The whole world grows cannabis in salt water..lol.

I used to run everything inside in 2 gal grow bags . I switched to 3 gal plastic pots so I can transplant outside easily. ( when the time comes. ) I have a big stash of them not used yet. If either of you wants them . I wont be using 2 gal grow bags anymore. Dm if interested

I usually mix my own soil using peat moss, compost, worm castings, pumice, rice hulls, and various dry ammendments. I am continually trying to simplify my grow processes. Next time instead of mixing in a bunch of different ammendments i will probably just add in bio live and maybe some extra basalt or other rock dust along with compost or worm castings. I am really hoping the Neptune's Harvest liquid nutrients work out well for me. They seem pretty easy. The organic style of growing seems to come naturally to me. To each their own. I like knowing if I take care of my soil and keep it simple, I rarely have issues.

My version of simple is promix HP straight outta the bag. Matter fact lately I've been reusing medium. My whole grow is in medium from my last grow. I'm seeing no difference. I think cannabis would grow in a bucket of sand if ya fed it right..lol.

Good to know your comfortable with organics. I am anxious to see what ya produce.
