too much rain

i was wondering how much rain is to much... i have 5 plants in the ground and are a almost 4 months old (bag seed) and on monday i put 6 minithunderf*** and 6 short term amnesia(af's from dutch breed) in pots then wednesday did another six of each in pots all af's were germed seeds... i am not really worried about the ones in the ground, just worried about the ones from seed if there is to much rain and they get water logged it has been raining since monday night and looks like its going to continue till next sunday. forgot to mention the af's have not broke ground yet.

Just make sure your pots have plenty of drain holes would be my guess...good luck and take care...

as long as the 4 month olds aren't budding they'll be fine. if you have a formation of buds, you may end up with mold. but since they are outside, they shouldn't be budding yet.

Yeah your seedlings could drown or get washed out in with continuous rain. I had it happen to my first grow. Clear plastic cups or soda bottle halves would protect them. Hope they do good. Good luck.

that sound like a great idea i think i will cove them if and when the rain dies down a bit.

same here...had about 10 washed out 1 year

well 3 out of 24 have made it through the wet wet mud... so i coved with pop bottle tops... and they deff. moved about when it rained not one of the 3 were in the center where i had put the seed... monday will be 7days on 12 of them and wed will be 7 days on the other 12 (af's mini thunderf*** and short term amnisia) 2 of the mini and 1 of the short term will have my fingers crossed till next check up in couple days. still expecting off and on till friday i think april has shown up way late....:hairpull:
