At the old ranch, you could take a sat pic of the property and see the first six feet of the driveway. The rest was under maple, cottonwood, and willow trees. I had a small area that actually got sun, so I put in a few rows of corn. Harvest time, I found the ears loaded with little white grub looking worms. Got pissed off and tossed the whole crop in a pile and doused it with gas and set it on fire. Next day at work, I was complaining to whoever would listen. One of the old timers said that the worms were wax worms, and they were more valuable than the corn! Seems that ice fishermen use 'em for bait.
Doubt Jan does much ice fishing out in NM. :)
Silk worms.

If I had a nickel for every time I've been called Santa, I'd have a ****-load o' nickels.
Love it when the little ones ask their parents/grand parents if I'm Santa. They kinda wilt and look like they'd rather be any place else, but I always smile at the kids and give 'em a wink and a "ho ho ho" when I walk by. Kids are precious. No filters.

Neighbors are moving out across from me.

Just ran the TJ up to the shop to get brake lines installed. 20 years ago I'd have done it myself, but crawling under the bugger and busting my knuckles for a couple of days just didn't sound fun. If I can get out with $600 or so invested, I'll be happy. Next one up for repair is that noisey assed muffler/ pipe on the van. She's my winter ride, and winter's on the way.

Morning folks happy Saturday, gonna be a hot one here. Gonna try to get into the shed cause the wife and daughter are on my a$$ to start growing again. If I do it will be snow queen and wizard queen. I've had these for a bit and have grown then a few times so I know them which helps when starting back up cold.

It's good to be appreciated for your talents instead of just your charm and good looks isn't it brother!
