I miss the old drive in movies. Started out in the back seat of my parents Oldsmobile and finished up in the back seat of my Chevy with my soon to be bride. Good times.
I still have the speaker I drove away with on an older car when the window never broke

That's what I liked about the Chevy. You really didn't even need to hit the back seat. The front bench seat (remember those?) would push back and allow enough room for a small orgy.
I often think about buying another '68 Impala, but at the moment, I don't have an extra 50K to blow. Besides, ya just can't go back. We're all marching the same direction.

Spent an honest 4 hours in the saddle mowing the back field. Didn't finish it, but what I missed will be there tomorrow, I'll guarantee. I was planning on making hobo dinners over a campfire tonight but I ran outta steam. Might get a second wind, but I'm not counting on it.

hey folks. still see some old faces here. i noticed i joined in 2014, in september that will make 10 years since i started the first feeble attempts to grow this wonderful plant we love so much. lot has changed in that ten years. so many old faces i remember when i was first learning. gone for one reason or another. some faces, good riddance...
i have forgotten what 26 years old felt like. 36 aint bad but i have to wonder if i have already crossed my peak... mentally, no. body wise, afraid it is close if i haven't already. still working on trucks, but making plans to move to a more desk based job in a year. i'm feeling this hard work, and i want to slow down and work less.
