Honda then
First ,another thing is fuel.
You mow your lawn ( nicely I may add).
You have what it takes to have ,store ,keep fresh gas
Some people dont mow their lawn and have no need to keep gas or even know how.
I dont use a lot of 2 cycle so i would buy the premixxed stuff that kept fresh.
Now battery is the way for my size property
I set up my Brother with a hondaEU 2000 and told him no gas till you need it.
but first you need to see if you need anything 220
i would recommend to customers to get the one plate burner electric or the butane little one burner you see at hotels at omelet stations. A electric stove is too much of a load but a one burner plate is not and a gas bbq makes cooking doable.
I with propane have a aux wall htr 8btu as a back up and cuts down on oil
Having another source of what you need is what I like

All excellent input. I built what we call the "little house" over a tad from the Chateau. I store gasoline, split oak firewood, and a small trailer in it. Along with some possums who live under the concrete floor. This outbuilding has withstood three hurricanes without a problem. My house sits on an acre-plus, but I do not do any lawn mowing. <-- I did a technical cost-analysis (similar to what I useta do for a living) and found that owning a mower and running/maintaining it vs its lifespan is far harder and more expensive than having a team of beaners zooming around with all kindsa power equipment.

The stored gas is renewed steadily becuz I refill Herself's Toyota with the 8 big yellow racing cans I keep in it. We do not put gas in the car at gas stations -- we put it in the trunk of the car to take home to the Little House. Gas Re-Nu ensures no bad gas. A steady gas-usage from the continually refilled racing cans is a part of life down here, storm or fine weather.

Needless to say, heating for the house is not a problem and never will be. I have a fireplace in the living room anyway.

I have a fireplace, but like most, it is on an outside wall. Both the dumbest, and most popular place. Most heat goes out the back and up the chimney.

Thats the way Unc
we have gas stuff i forget the name.
And putting it in your car tank is the best too.
Now a question for some motor guys .
I used to use premium because it had a higher octane that would lower a little as it ages.
I would add it to a tank that had some gas in so it was diluted.
Not sure if that is right.
I was absent that day in school.

Not necessary, Bro. If your motor does not require high test, you are just wasting money.

If the money diff doesn't mean anything to you, no harm done. But regular gas is fine unless you are running a Cadillac <-- When I made a killing** on the Dot-Com Boom, I bought a new Caddy. It was fun.

**Stock that cost me $1/share -- I sold for $51/share. It is now 6c a share (DALN). Paid for my land, furniture, house, Caddy, and Dodge van. Now I am broke again, but no debts.

Just got back to finish and post this. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

My peacocks (Beau and Fancy Pants) startled my favorite Witchie-Poo by being right there when she opened the laundry-room door to the garage. I told her they were probably hungry and she should give them some of the chicken she had in her hand.

She tole me (righteously, I might haveta add) that the reason I had to shovel a blue ton of icky giant birdie plop was because I gave them goodies there sometimes.

She's right. I am a softie for wildies that come right up to me. If I am sitting in my comfy chair inna garage doing a bag, I always hold out something for them to eat. Keeps them tame.

I also had a buddy who got a unbelievable deal on a Grady White garaged.
It was a 2 cycle but you added the 2 cycle oils in a separate tank and it mixxed it internally.
He had a supply of gas in his boat and used Stabil ,

No I use only regular in my truck and my car.
I would just buy 2 gal of premium and store that and use it for the snowblower then put that gas in the car.
I would not have a car that runs on premium gas

I got the Honda eu2000-i to power a window A/C in the bedroom or the other window A/C I can install in the other end of the house where I am sitting now. Easypeasy to move the little darlin' to whichever window A/C is on deck. These two A/C's are stored in my garage. Takes ten minnits to put 'em in a window.

For 220v and my well, that is for my big, KEY START generator (that I turn on the first of each month to test) to run.

I wrote a formal printed checklist and hung it on my circuit breaker panel in a clear plastic holder that gives step-by-step destructions on how to disconnect from the World, and to start each breaker load one at a time. <-- This was my ole Engineer thingy at play to ensure absolutely anybody (eg: Beautiful Redwitch) could get power to the fridge/freezer/TV etc. without overloading the generator.

Oh. And there is a clear plastic holder with generator start/run destructions hanging on the big generator, too.

Down in Floriduh, I have found over the last 46 years living here that the real problems of hurricanes appear after the storm.

When we watch Cabin Masters on TV, we marvel at the tissue paper/tinfoil roofs they put on houses in Maine. My roof has nailed metal disks no more than an inch apart over the whole roof. <-- TINS. And the house is rebar'd every 18" from slab to roof.

If my house goes... it will go as a complete unit, slab and all.
Too many time people dont do the right thing
I have done not the right thing.
But I was always present.
Now it has to be for anyone if im not around.
I had over 26 hours on my generator from just running 10 min a week exercising

I just found out some fantastic news! The guy that built my firing range in my back yard as a susprise present to me hadda move to Virginia. <-- That wuz sad, 'cause he was a really nice guy (and a good shot).

Turns out the couple that moved in are the perfect replacement... the husband (who is out fishing in the Gulf Stream as I type this) repairs small engines for a living! 🤩

How fargin lucky is that. So I told his purty lady that I'd either pay him, or just give him my Coleman 6250W pull-start generator with only about 10 hours running time on it to get my tweeny and very expensive hummer running right. Or both -- the big generator is just taking up room in my garage. I will never use it.
using that Unca charm you sly devil you,

As a lifelong mechanic I say use the fluids the manufacturer recommends for the specific vehicle or its components, for whatever that's worth.
If your engine requires regular fuel, use regular fuel. You're throwing money away and reducing efficiency, especially in today's hi-tech IC engines, if you use other than that specified by the engineers who, actually, do try to improve the automotive industry, despite the many, many times I cursed their design idiocies.
Like having to remove the steering column from a car to replace the starter. lol

colorado vs usc

final score , Colorado 13 USC 45
I heard something about somebody at Colorado jumping up on a table and screaming in fear for somebody to take care of a MOUSE on the floor. Izzat true?

If so, I'm sorry...but that ---card is lost. That will be my forever-vision whenever it comes to mind.
My little girl would have caught and held it. Then turned it loose, safe. Heh. Prime Time.

I agree 100%
I say go by who knows and spends their time knowing.
Ima electrician and not going to change tires ,gas octane or anything that was not designed for the thing to begin with.
I do what I do ,and they do what they do.
A project car ,hot rod whatever is a different story.
A everyday driver I use the KISS method.
When we were roughing houses I ran reg gas in the generators because it was always fresh.
