If the Earth is flat, then one could assume that the other planets are flat, too. Isn't in nice that all the "round" sides are facing Earth? Mighty handy, don't ya think? Maybe there's a bunch of 'em out there and we can't see 'em 'cause the skinny side is showing our direction?

After posting my comment about the Aurora Borealis experience on my flight from Narita to Detroit, I looked at this pic. Black line(flat earth)is quite a bit shorter than the red line(globe following the meridians).
