Jimmy boy you smoke too much lol. but hey if cold weather makes you White whats with the eskimoes?
I'd have to disagree. Rap IS NOT a problem! It catches a bum rap because of stuff like the Don Imus situation, where people try to use it to justify the wrongs they do. People have to remember...rap is predominantly for youngsters. A lot of them want to show they have bigger balls than the other person...that's not a race thing but a male thing. "well they call women ******* and hoes" That's just generalizing. Does anyone disagree that there are some ******* and hoes, even amongst men? These are young street kids, encouraged to act their worst, in hopes they can get rich doing it. I have a friend that is my age, he raps too and we make music about everything...our families, our ladies, our problems and sometimes the street and the world. It can be an ugly place sometimes. Just makes me sick that all it took was a few people to say "rap is a problem" then everyone blames rap for their woes. It was the same with heavy metal when it came along, tagged as devil worshipping music. You can't generalize rappers because they are different people, with different lives, with different experiences. Rap is also not a people of color thing. There are alot of teenage suburbanites wishing to be the next 50 cent. Black people are the same way, just acting trying to look gangster. I've said it once, i'll say it again...I know hundreds of rappers but only a few thugs.some times you hear the people of color slam them selves, just listen to the words of some rap stars.
