Hello,

I grew two plants from the same seed batch. One plant flowered much sooner than the other, but neither of them really had their trichomes? turned brown:confused:

I planted in february, harvested one in july thinking it was ready. But I waited for the second plant it's been 10 months and the hairs are still transparent! What does that mean?? The flowers are drying on the plant, they don't look as fresh as a month ago, but I'm relying the color change to brown before harvesting all.

The first plant wasn't strong at all. Very mild.

Anyone has any ideas?

it depends on where your at as to when you'll harvest. im in the southeast and its past harvest time here since we've had a few hard freezes already.

transparent hairs??? What...

Planted in Feb and harvested in july? Where are you at, like not specifically but what part of the world because most of what you are saying is making no sense to me

The microscope doesn't help view hairs, it help look at the trichomes or the crystals, those would be what is clear, not hairs which are white from the time they emerge

Also it doesn't even seem like you are working within the outdoor grow season

ok sorry about the terminology, I meant trichomes. they are still transparent after 10 months!

That is something new to me are you keeping track of the days right? Or maybe the weed is garbage. what stain is it or is it bag seed?

I think you nailed it here. What happened is it went directly into flower once it was planted in Feb, and the days got L-O-N-G-E-R instead of shorter. At some point it reverted back to a vegative state. The blooms that were on it probably stalled.

Yeah that figures. Happened to me with tomatoes more than once. You think, "I'd better get them in nice and early, get an early crop" but the days are too short, so the plant goes into flower rather than veg and ends up a wreck.
