Pardon me, another cloning question.

im getting a little impatient, I want to sex my plants so im
going to start cloning as soon as I can.

I pretty much know everything I have to know, from all
the reading ive done so far.

But i have some questions:

1. People place their cuttings into a cup of water, that has been PH'd. OK. Easy enough. My question is: when the lights is on the clone for
their 12hrs of light.. Wouldn't the light go through the water and
be bad for the roots??

2. I have my garden on 24/0 lighting as they aare all vegging.
I plan on getting a light proofed box, and placing over the clones
for their 12hrs of dark. I just want to know.
Is the 12hours of darkness an exact thing??
Considering I have to manually place and remove the box.
Does it matter if it gets little more or less light or more or less Darkness?

i always heard for sexing a clone 10/14 is better. But you can give them 11/13 12/12 10/14 anything willl do. So mplants have to have different flowering light cycles. Some WONT bud unless it's 11/13 etc. umm and i dunno if it's bad for the root, it doesn't need MUCH light anyways. and it's going to die in after yous ex it unless you wanna decide to keep it.

You'll want your cup taped up or covered to block the light... not realyl for the roots... but so algae won't grow...

Lights should be pretty much the same... off a little I can't see being a problem.. but if u forgot a coupletimes or something u might have problems. Depends how hearty ur strain is too really.

Little warming mat would be good as well. not a heat pad, but like a seedling warming mat.
