old guy starting out

This is my first attempt to grow marijuana. I have 3 plants growing in soil, started flowering about a week ago. 1 plant in a DPC set up. The seeds were from old smoke and I don't know if they will produce or not, I did find a male and removed it.
This was just a rough try but before I try again I would like to buy good seeds. Their is so much confusion about where to buy, I see Nirvana advertizes here but several internet blogs say no to them.
I'm 70 yrs old and want a good crop before I go any wise advice?:icon_smile:

Yual picked a good fire to set by pilgrem. Glad yual found us and there is alot good folk here make things easier fur ya. If this is yur first grow yual did well choosen bagseed cause it be bout the best thing to start with cause its cheap and makes fur good product to learn from, and as yual get better skilled in the grow then spend money on the better beans. Welcome my friend you'll find this to be the 1 place Where yo get a ton of great information. the people here are good and friendly. I have to say like family to me. I have bought seeds from nirvana several times without a problem. They all germinaTed and Things were good. I also like barneys farm. And myself I usuAlly grow feminized seeds. I have never had 1 herm on me. as for strain. white widow white rhino. Jock horrer are very good and easy to grow AnywAy once AgAin welcome my friend.

Welcome to MP and the wonderful world of growing brosef....I use The Attitude probably more then any of the other seed banks. Nirvana is good for lower prices on beans but some hve had problems in the past. I also hve used Single Seed Centre. It's good when you want to only buy a cpl beans and not spring for a 10 pack or a 5 of femmed. jmo

I hve used my debit card for every single bean purchase that allowed a CC to be used. Some sites like The Hemp Depot only accept Money orders or cash. I hve never had a single problem using my CC. None. jmo

Like Hamster, I always use a debit card to buy seeds with absolutely no incidents. Buying seeds is probably the safest part of growing. I buy a lot from Attitude. I am partial to Mandala's strains. When deciding what to buy, decide what kind of high you want and select from there.

Awesome! I love the idea of you rallying more seniors. We just got my mother in law on hash oil for her arthritis at 87! I agree world would be a better place in so many ways. We have to take action before the drug companies sneak in and patent our babies and make it really illegal to grow them. LEO doesn't really scare me... Monsanto lawyers do. Ooops off my soapbox now.
