A lot of people use sticky traps for gnats. Weedhopper uses a yellow flyswatter or yellow hard hat coated in petroleum jelly I think. I guess they like the color yellow.

And I thought I could mix diatomaceous earth with water and when it dries it will leave a coating on the leaves.

Ya I did some research and concluded aphids as well. I’ve got DE. I’m going to start with daily mistings of that and see what happens. If spinosad would be more effective I’ll get some. But I have DE on hand..

Alcohol,water,and dish soap in a spray bottle.
Mix 30% Alcohol to 70% water. Add a teaspoon of dish soap. Shake it real good and spray the plant down. It will kill them.

New light. New batch of clones.
I got the aphids taken care of with some neem oil and Spinosad. Now the girls are showing me signs of not being happy. I’m assuming some sort of deficiency, but it’s so hard to tell. N, P, K, Mag, Sulphur. ?!?!
Or is it light stress from the new light. I started at 50% power and slowly bumped up to 75% over a week or two span. I started to LST them a little bit as well. Surely it’s not stress from the LST. Any help guys and gals…
Slow growth, yellowing leaves, stems and stalks are turning purple. Light distance is 16 inches please don’t tell me cal mag lol

Maybe a dumb question but do you have drainage holes in your buckets? Also, how is your pH(both going in and coming out of the holes if you have them)?

Plenty of drainage holes. PH going in is 6.5. Haven’t measured run of. Overall soil PH is around 6.5-6.7 according to my meter

It won’t turn the existing leaves green. Overnight? Nothing but green spray paint will do that.
