You can get more. I can get 5-7oz max in a 2x2.5 space using a 600wHPS, which is what it would take to get the density and number of larger buds up, but like you say, it would cause you significant heat issues. Which heat can be dealt with but there is more cost and challenge involved, in the way of HVAC.
