Whats up guys..new here...
I have 2 plants, one is abt 8 inches big, and bery leafy, while the other is about is like 5....i had 5 before...but two days ago i bought a blue light..150 watts and it seemed as though i put them too close to the light...

I need some help tho...I bought some soil... "Mricale Grow Potting Mix" and I put them in that, and i also moved them further away from the light..about 18 inches away..and i have them in my closettt...I also got a NPK 20-20-20 fertilzer...am I on the right track? i did all of this today!

First of all, Welcome to MP!!!.. THis is a great site and has just about everything you ever wanted to know about growing MJ.

That being said..... Get that plant out of the MG soil and get you a good soil with no time released nutes in it.... Then pull up a chair and start reading.... after about 6 hours or so, you will have a gen basic understanding of what to do next and the plant will still be alive )hehhehe.... after that... read some more ).... there is soo much information on this site, it will keep you entertained for a long time....


Oh, and BTW... Enjoy your grow ).. that is the main thing.:hubba:

Hi there. Welcome to MP. This is a great place to learn how to grow mj like a pro. It's also filled with members that are more than willing to help you out in any way possible. Make sure to read, read, read. This site has tons of information that will definitely help you out but you have to be willing to look for it. The Resources tab at the top of the page is a great place to start.

I would say get rid of the blue light and get either and HID system or use flourescent lighting. You will have better results IMO. I agree that miracle grow soil isn't the greatest but I've seen decent results with it so it's really your choice if you want to use good soil or you want to use miracle grow. Pro mix is great soil. Also Fox Farms makes some very good nutes for veg and bloom. That's what I use and they are fantastic. What are the dimensions of your growroom? Just my thoughts. Hope this helps. Thanks guys...my grow room... its really welll MY ROOOM...at first i had the ladies like in a bucket with soil..and they started growing nicely...I would Put them by the window everyday so that they'll get sunlight...i'd water them and so on. After seeing that they were growing really well, thats when i decided to read up on it, and actually go get fertilizers and the black light and stuff. My mistake, the "Blue LIght" its reallly a blue fluorescent 150watt bulb..and since i got that... i keep them in my closet under the light so that they could just grow. and the fertilizer has an NPK value of 20-20-20

Welcome to the site. And I agree, there is so much good info to read here. It really makes it hard to get away to do chores. LOL Anyway, I am using 6500 k Fluorescent tubes for my girls throughout there veg cycle.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the site. Lots of friendly people here.
