I need a CFL or floro setup that u can buy at home depot or lowes. please help me out.

I went and got a 2 foot 2 bulb t12, but it doesnt have a cord. i need something with a cord.

please please help!

just put a cord on it.
open it up and there should be 2 different color wire with wire nuts on them. splice your cord into them.
could be white and black or white and blue i think not sure, but the fixture sould have directions in the box. Make sure you ground it to the grounding screw

lowes sells a t5 or t8 single bulb, do u think that would do? it already has a cord on it..

home depot has a deal on 3 foot t5's for 30$ WITH BULBS, also 2 foot t'8 .

but for cloning. 2 bulbs should be enough.
For veg growth you will need 4 times that.


I believe the bulbs are cool white and will suffice for now.

The T12 will be fine for clones, use cool white bulbs.

I like to use strip lights for my clones. They are 18 watts, you just plug 'em in, and I see roots within two weeks running minimal wattage. I just simply lay the light on top of my humidity dome. But that's just me, who knows, I might see more vigorous root development with a higher wattage bulb, but I seem to be faring fine with my strip lights so far... happy cloning!
