hi guys, i have 23 plants under a 400 hps light. i was woundering if adding 400 more watts would help growing and over out outcome

yes it would help.23 plants is alot for a 400 watt setup. Also it adds another light source so all your plants will get light from 2 diffrent angles.

yeah alot 23 plants under 400watts i had 20 under a 1000watts hps i took out 6 and now i have 14 under my 1000watts at their 3 weeks 12-12

For 23 plants you need ALOT more lumens.acouple more 400's will work for ya.Keep it GREEN:hubba:

I got two OTT-LITE Natural light supplement bulbs. Would that work for six plants on a hydroponics system? They are only 17w each. It says is like natural daylight for plants, I was also going to add a florescent.

I have 18 plants under 4600 watts and I am adding another 1000 when I get the bulb tommorrow. You need more light!!!!!!!!! they will grow but more light will drastically improve your results. Good luck

Stunzeed..

You can't judge the amount of light he needs by the number of plants... I do 25 under one 1000w and it is the proper amount for the area. You want 5000+ lumens per square foot..... figure it out mang!
