Lights for Auto-flowers

Quick question.

Since auto-flowers have such a short veg time, does anyone use just the flower spectrum (2700K) from seed to harvest?

I've used the flowering spectrum from seed, but of the three plants i've grown...ALL turned out male. Would I get a better chance of prodcing females if I did use a "veg" spectrum until sexual maturity?

it's not gunna make any markable difference... my lowryders that started from seed under a veg light still gave me a 1:1 ratio of males to females....

ie... makes no diff, IMO

You probably got most of your males out of the way but I would still add a few veg lights to the mix.

So for these auto's...it seems like the "veg" and "flower" spectrum doesn't have any effect on producing males and females.

Looks like I'm going to stick with the "flower" spectrum from seed to finish. I'll add a couple of "veg" lights to cover my bases.

Wal-mart sells a nice ready to go 2'- 75 watt veg tube for $10.You can see them in my grow.They work great.

When you say veg tube...you mean like the flourescent tubes?

Do I need a seperate ballast for these?

Is there a link on the wal-mart website so I can see?

They're the lights in the bottom right of the box.If you're interested they're by the Fluorescent tubes with the under cabinet lights.
