I've narrowed my choices down...still too many

I've decided to NOT buy more seeds before my next grow, so were left with these to choose from...

actually, its between Satori and Chucky's Bride

so far I've only played on the Indica side and I REALLY want a UP/Sativa this time!

Regular seeds "scare" me though.
I have such a SMALL space to work with, I'm not sure I can fit more than 2 plants and the clone bucket in there and even that's going to be awkward.

So that single C99 FEM and many of the other Sativa Hazes and wreckage etc FEM seeds still have a powerful draw.

Chuck is in love.

Don't be afraid of regular seeds. But if you feel better using the fems, go for it. C99 is a nice small, at least she was at my house, plant maybe better for a small grow..

Duck, I got a few Chuck's for chirstmas, can you tell us the growth habit and stuff?

I think Duck has a thang for Chuck, ( she says in her most southern of accents)

Well, at least I am no longer talking to Mr1's plants. I am fine this morning. How are you?
I bet your having a nice morning if that Cindy's involved.. Always good to see you.

Lol, it's ok, I talk to my plants too.

I am well this morning! Thank you for asking!:)

I only have Cindy oil left for right now, and it's way to early to start smoking oil...... I have to trim today so I need to stay productive lol.

You would probably be happy with either, Joe. Chucky's Bride is 1/2 C99, which was my favorite sativa dominant until I met up with Satori. However, duck seems to like the Chucky's Bride as much as I love my Satori, so I am sure that either of them would give you what you want. Unfortunately, none of my plants in straight coco are doing anything at all--not even sure if they are going to survive. I am thinking it is not the medium for me. So I have no words of wisdom on growing the
Chucky.

Responses well to topping, lollypopping, or nothing.

Stretches from around 28 to about 60.

Hard dense buds. If growing single cola will be filled out. I still do not get the girth of my Satori cola, but working on it:)

that haze from royal should be pretty up pot too.. i worry about space with her though ;)

Hazes can get huge and some of them take forever to flower. I personally would recommend starting out with something different than a Haze for a first "sativa" grow.

space... 22" x 26" (both Veg and flower) with height enough for 46" of PLANT in flower and 26" tall PLANT in veg

I say PLANT because I've already factored in the space needed by lights and tote, the cabinet is 68" tall.

thank you for the (feel free to continue) input!

Was that topped or single cola?

assuming about the same ratio, I could VEG to 20" and then stretch to 40-44"
or
Veg a topped plant to 26" and stretch into the low 40's

unfortunately, height is not the only (or first) place space issues will appear.

Going with Regular seeds, I can't risk popping just one, but is 2 "enough"... 50/50 shot @ a female?

Maybe I should just pop that C99 FEM for now and hold off on the "regular / tall" strains till I have more space.
(tentative plan is to have a: bathroom + storage + stealth-grow-room built down in the basement. room for two 3'x3' tents)

:48:

That was both, topped and single cola.

great info!
so
If chuck gets the call I'll be sure to top her and flip by or before 20" NO questions!

:48:

It will be a mistake to flip her before she is ready. Even if you are using a fem seed, flipping before she is sexually mature will make your plant taller and lankier, not bushier and shorter. She will not flower until she is ready.

It appears that you have 3 spaces in there? Flowering, vegging, and clones? I really would suggest making the flowering space a bit larger as it appears the cabinet has been about split down the middle with 1/2 given to vegging and 1/2 given to flowering. It really is quite hard to grow in a space that small starting from seed. Clones will do better as you can flower them anytime.

I think the size of your space prohibits growing the Haze. So, IMO, probably either the Chucky (1/2 C99), the Satori or the C99 would be better choices. C99 was my up pot of choice before I found the Satori. I would also encourage you to pop at least 3-4 beans if you go with reg seeds. I have planted 5 before and gotten all males, but it is rare that something like that happens, but it does. Once the plants get enough size to take a cutting, you can either take a cutting and put it into a 12/12 schedule or do something to cover up one of the branches 12 hours a day. The cutting method is easier, IMO.

smallest section is full of filter/fan/silencer and air pump
(not the finished installation, missing a tube and wall/hole repair)

Leaning toward that single C99 FEM @ this point, keep it simple.
Pop 1 bean and go.

Once I have more room I'll be free to pop 3-4 beans @ once and have room for a 5'+ tall plant.

You will not be disappointed with the C99.

Tell me about your diagram. Setting up a grow in a basement? Are the 3 x 3 things tents or built spaces? You can actually make your vegging space smaller and your flowering space a bit larger as I see cloning in your future. I am assuming that the sump is already there? You could back up the utility sink to the lavatory in the bathroom and share the water and drain lines if it is going to be a problem getting water to the sink or you don't want to dump into the sump.

yes, the sump, toilet and sink (PVC pipe leading to sump) are already in the basement floor

I like your idea of backing the utility sink to the bathroom sink. I was thinking of something that would drain directly into the sump (out of simplicity) with a hose but was not thinking about the water lines... much less copper in your plan!

The grow room is planned to be 100% stealth: "lost space" behind a "hidden" door behind a "trick" cabinet. This will solve my parenting issue (7 Y.O. daughter) and was the ONLY way I could convince my "not so daring" other half to let me have MORE SPACE to grow!!

my thoughts were to have two 3x3 tents one for flower one for veg/clone/bonsai-mom storage. I would love to have 3+ "mom's" of different strains to pull clones off of and cycle a clone back as a new mom (flower every other "generation")

Until oh-high-oh goes medical/recreational I will only flower 1 (one, uno) plant, NO questions! [hence the size of my current DIY cabinet]

I need to keep less than 7oz of dried product (be that in a jar already dry or "usable product" on a plant to be dried) in the house.. that's the misdemeanor/felony line.

I like the tents as a first line of smell and light defense. A controlled environment that I can setup without hammers, nails or duct-tape and can be removed/moved.
