Fifty inches of snow, so far. An Alberta clipper set to hit tonight, eighteen more inches possible. My life since Thanksgiving has been snow removal and not much else. Replaced a leaking hydraulic line on the tractor. I'm as ready as possible. My weed consumption is down, too tired and not as much free time. At least I can still do this stuff, you have to be a little self-sufficient to live rurally in the snowbelt.
They're calling for a warming trend this weekend, hopefully things will improve. They say we were just a couple inches short of the all time biggest snow storm for Ohio. The last few winters haven't had half this much snow for the entire season. I guess we'll get the worst out of the way now.
Good morning, Misfits. F'n back pain woke me up, so I went to the garage to smoke a bowl and a cig. Fixed my baby some breakfast, and now back on the bed. Currently 17, with a high of 28 expected today.
We decided to get up, neither of us could get comfortable enough to get back to sleep. Sitting on the couch, got the space heater going and watching some TV
Partly cloudy here starting at 32F and predicted to soar to 46F.
Good news at the dentist, where I found that they could just replace the two front teeth that I broke when I dropped my upper plate, instead of the whole plate. They sent it off for repairs and relined my backup set so I can eat in the interim. Looks like I get my two front teeth for Christmas!
Alas, too much happening yesterday and I didn't make it to the hardware store yesterday for the breaker and photo switch, so will do that this morning.
Breakfast out at Gravy this morning with Grayfox and our chef friend.
Currently 12 and a high of 22. Wind has died down just a hair. I probably need to take a walk around and make sure all the shingles are still on the house.
Good mornin', checking in, 19'F here, gusty winds. momma stayed home from work.
RSO oil is tasting good, glad i stocked up, harder to go to garage and smoke rn. the Muertos, and Magic Marker is there to blaze hayea.
Good morning, Misfits. I was all set to whine about waking up to 18 degrees, but I'll keep it to myself. 17 is pretty cold for MO. I'd be watching for busted water lines. They don't bury 'em that deep down there.
Got snow. Not sure how much yet 'cause my fanny is still semi-comfortably parked in the fart sack.
My turn for the doc's today. Gotta get the thyroid checked. Little Arab doc said depending on the ultrasound, she might not be seeing me again. Kool.
I was reminiscing with the Old Hen yesterday on how we used to go to concerts and parties, and now we go to doctors. Can't go back, so full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes.
