What is that, ranch?
Richard Cranium
Most people that buy them want them as decoration. A cool pet kinda thing.Suppose the folks are just waiting 'til a little closer to Thanksgiving? Maybe everybody is too broke to buy 'em this year.
May sound dumb but have you checked the heater core?Well I replaced the water pump today. A bit involved. Remove wheel, power steering pump and reservoir, alternator and crankshaft pulley.
Pulled the pump off and it was good. So back to the drawing board on the root cause.
And to top it off I got it a tooth out of time so I gotta do it all over again. Replaced the radiator since I had a new all metal one on hand.
Now it’s going to be dark when I get home after work.
It overheats but only at low rpm. Speed doesn’t affect it. Fans work. Thermostat has been replaced. Not using coolant. I don’t suspect a head gasket but I guess I ought to do a compression test. Head gasket ought to get worse with higher rpm. And my issue gets better at high rpm.
Getting worse. Last winter the only symptom was the heat wouldn’t blow hot at idle. Makes me think it is a flow issue.
No, because the engine will overheat. Wouldn’t cause that. The coolant is always replaced on time and never mixed. Did make sure there was no debris or anything else in the coolant system.May sound dumb but have you checked the heater core?
