Quail aviary almost complete. Need hinges and a latch for the door. Probably need it for chickens til I get the new grow out pen built. Still working to get the greenhouse frame from my neighbor. It’s about 16x30 or so. Just wrap in chain link and chicken wire and it will house around 100 birds.

Shot the new .22 revolver today. Made some adjustments to the rear sight and at 35 feet I can get a six shot group at two inches. It’s loud enough to need protection. Surprised me. I guess it’s the short barrel vs a rifle.

You must have been shooting mags. LR in mine are not ear ringing unless you're inside a vehicle. Don't ask.

Guess I'm not the "sensitive" type.
The only time an AK or AR will ring my ears is if I'm under triple canopy or next to the side of a building. I did an urban assault course once, and I was leaning up against the side of a dump truck bed. Didn't make my ears bleed, but it wasn't something I'd care to repeat if I had other choices.

Clear morning with cloudy afternoon starting at 52F and predicted to reach 77F.
Looks like I will be snaking a drain this morning. This one is the basement drain and I suspect she isn't running a strainer on her washer discharge. I'll turn he into how to use a woman's stocking for that purpose.

Still raining and supposed to keep going until noon. No plans for the day, other than smoking bud. My friend is coming up from Oklahoma sometime today, so we will be eating some of those 100 mg gummies soon
I won’t shoot a deer anymore if I can’t put my ear muffs on. I already find my self cocking my head to one side to hear people better. Probably the ten years of air hammers and pneumatic tools at work.
Heading to town today. Need baby food and the boy wants a new cap gun. The one he has is broke. Found it in a ditch a while back. Need to sight in an air rifle. My uncles neighbors have feral cats that got that feline aids. And it has given it to their two house cats. So he’s going to thin the herd. That 22 air rifle is a cat killing machine. And quiet too.
I use to hunt as a young man with nothing but a 22 LR. Wasn't anything I couldn't kill including big deer. I could put a bullet in their head very easily from long distances . Loved hunting squirrels. Shooting them in the head saved the meat. Some ppl used shotguns. I didn't like it because it fked up the meat.That fking rifle was very very accurate. Plus I had been shooting since I was just a little boy.
My Dad always took me hunting with him.
