Got a call earlier from my niece. My sister was put into ICU yesterday. The lung cancer has taken a toll on her. It's not looking good which is shocking because we thought she was going to be okay. They signed a DNR yesterday.
I'm taking off work tomorrow to go see her. I hope it's not my last visit. She is the last of my Family.
My Dad died when I was 11 and my Mom passed in 2016. I don't have any other siblings. Really sucks.
Thank God I have my Wife and kids.

Damn, I meant to respond to this earlier. Sorry to hear this news. Seems the older we get the more we loose but we get by and time move on. You'll be in my thoughts. Family loss is the toughest.

I'm still hoping she gets better. The Doctor hasn't said it's over. He just wanted to air on the side of caution.
They are putting a feeding tube in her nose tomorrow. She needs more nutrition.

No fun grilling in humidity of more than 70%. Thats good for some places but not the desert. No matter it cones every year stays about 6 weeks or so. Humidity is better than snow so I’m good.

And good morning, insomniac Misfits! Got a long drive home tomorrow, and having trouble getting comfortable enough to sleep. Time to smoke a bowl or two, and rub some canna salve on my back and left hip. I have some pharma I can take if I need to, but prefer the herbal cure

It cooled down to 72 now, so I stepped outside to hear the crickets, look at the full moon and smoke a bowl. An occasional car can be heard on the highway behind my friend's house, which is about a half mile away. Very peaceful!
