Good morning, misfits! Had an early night last night. Came home with a screaming back, shoved a coney and rings down my throat, cuddled up in bed with my girls to watch some Halloween stuff on the tube, found a spot where the back wasn't talking too loud, and promptly checked out. Held off on taking any opioids and I'm glad I did. Sometimes nature is kind to me.
63 degrees right now with the promise of high winds. In Michigan, that spells loads of maple leaves to clean up. As soon as it gets light, that'll be my game plan, anyhoo.

I was promised some packs of "Dirty Tea Socks" by Bubba Socs Inc. They promise I would have them by now. I checked the tracking number and it said that they are delayed in US Customs Something about Hazardous Materials and Noxious Vial Smelling substances oozing from the shipping container.
I have sent numerous emails to the shipper and have not yet heard back. Has anyone else had thie problem with this company? Thanks for your attention and time.

Happy Weedsday morning Island brothers and sisters!
More rain starting at 44F and predicted to soar to 50F.
My first try at "Mom's biscuits" turned out well but I didn't also make green tomato bread as planned, after reviewing the ingredients and remembering why it tastes so good. It takes two cups of sugar for one loaf and should probably be named Green Tomato Cake.
Housekeepers due again this morning, so off to play in the rain at Fernhill dog park. It feels like they were here last week, instead of two weeks ago. Times apparent airspeed continues to accelerate..................
