Found out I was a massive diabetic while I was having a widow maker they just flat out told me they couldn't stop after going through the cath lab I built when I worked there. Off to OR I went and I use to maintain. Knew my surgeon. Told him I don't want to wake up on a vent and no pain. I want to be slobbering if I live through it for a month or just put me in a room and I will deal with death. We agreed and he was a man of his word. Small arteries below my knee are blocked both legs and I won't have that surgery done. Seen more people die of that than massive strokes or heart attacks. Really a heartbreaker. My big issue is I just can't get off the cigs. Blood sugar could be better but not near as bad as it once was. And I don't sleep right anymore. But I still chase the wife around, play hard to get, ride motorcycles, shoot and grow weed. Have daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. May get my 5th great today. Life's been good! Most men don't make it in any way productive past 70 years old in my family be it by hook or crook....I had a triple bypass back in 2013 and a stint in 2019.
Doing pretty good. I put in approximately 35 to 45 thousand steps a week. Ill be turning 69 in February.
