Walt don’t y’all have those Burmese pythons down where you are? I know they get big. You near the Everglades?
Yowza. They are in the Big Cypress swamp. Convenient for people, bad for just about any animobile in the swamp smaller than a water buffalo... and even they'd get swallowed when young.

Just this month, some guys just caught what started out as a Florida record-size python. Turned out it was a world record-size python! 19 feet long. EEK. EEK.

And the crazy bastage wrassled it!! <--TINS! On video, yet. DYODD for the video (I have watched it, but I am too high to find it now). Worth watching. He grabs the monster just behind its enormous head... inna dark! And the 19' battle was on. Jeez.

morning joe631a
thanks for asking

bottom is done , they snap in and out with a snap , oh snap!

tops look like a regular denture right now , we go back under the knife in about 30 days when the dental surgeon torques the titanium posts and snaps in the tops

we have about 90 days until we are done with this phase and then it is just checkups and cleanings , yes the titanium posts do get plaque and need regular cleanings

i will take the cleanings over having to deal with a sore tooth for 2-3 months , a swollen jaw , and then a few needles to the mouth and extraction..wash rinse repeat

but now there will be no more toothaches , no more swollen jaw , no more needles to the mouth , just choppers

Partially cloudy here, starting at 58F and predicted to reach 75F.

I caught the rascally squirrel who has been stealing my tomatoes and ended up just relocating it, instead of adding it to the stew pot. It was fat and healthy, but not big enough for half a meal and I decided that while a heinous crime, it was just trying to eat and didn't deserve to die over it.

Sadly mine didn't work out and I had to have the remaining two screws removed. I now use a conventional upper plate.

bummer man

does your regular upper plate cover your palate? …..the temporary upper that we have is a full palate and I do not like it at all , it is really messy when I try to eat with them in….

but I don’t use any glue either so that is why they flop around so much when I try to eat….don’t like the glue , that is one of the reasons for going the snap in route

i hope my uppers work as good as my lowers , which have 5 posts

i believe I am supposed to get five posts for my uppers too so that should make them functional…..doc said I should get back 95% of my original bite

we will see

Yes it does cover my palate and I don't like it, but don't need adhesive, which I dislike more.

Mine worked well and I liked them, but two of the screws failed.
