I have 2 plants that I would like to throw outside to begin flowering. Is there still enough time to get a yield this year? I live near the gulf of mexico. They are sexually mature and about 18 inches high. I just cloned them....

they are LST'd right now but id thought id untie them and let them go.

I have a place that gets good sunlight but limited Direct Sunlight due to some pine trees.

:ciao: I would say so if you are in a warm region ... you're losing light as the season wans ... so your lady would have no problems finishing ... I would say as long as it's warm enough go for it ... :hubba:

sheeeshe .. 'tuff call'. can you leave them in pots.. an bring em into protection on cold nites?
even a shed, enclosed would be great.. or think about a way to cover them with a tarp or buckets, ect ?? to protect em on cold nites
But IMO, if they aren't already in flower 5 weeks 'probably' wouldn't alllow them to "finish". ..:confused2:,

i have an afghan outside that i was hoping would have started flowering by now but it hasn't and i'm pretty sure there won't be enough time left for it to finish, but then i'm in the uk. If its still a bit warmer where you are (especially at night) then go for it. If not then maybe you can do as hick mentioned and bring them indoors when its cold and if necessary bring them indoors to finish up :)

not really worried about temps here....nights below 60 arent really a problem until december. The first frost is late november some time and I can cover them if needed. It will occasionally drop below 40 but those nights are few and far between.

I was more worried about the length of the light cycle and would it continue long enough for my girls to fully finish outside. When do the days start getting longer again?
