hi,im new and need some help

i had put my seeds in the soil last week i have 2 reflector and my lights are 75watt plant lights.nothing pop out the soil yet i dont no why not.please help...

were the seeds germinated prior to droping in the soil??
if no, and its only been a week thats ok, it can take up to 3wks. right around your 2wk period i bet that lil gal will pop..
how close is the light?? and whats ya temps??

Just look around and read some of the grow journals and get some info, THEN germinate the seeds and begin the grow. Alot of info here, so read up, enjoy and good luck!

Welcome around McFly.
I had one not long ago take awhile to pop through. I took a toothpick and scooted around the dirt just a little until i could see what was going on. It was actually doing good so I shifted the dirt back gently.
Might want to take one and have a peek. See if its doing anything. Just dont do it around alot of light.
Also how deep have you been putting them? I was doing a half inch deep, but now doing just a quarter. Since I been doing a quarter inch, Ive had every one pop within a few days.

I do the same thing as Spear...when they take more then 2 or 3 days I gently scuff the dirt until I can see what is going on...if all is good and it has a nice tap root I put the dirt back over and mist with some water...

yes i had alot of seeds that i germinated.the tails was out.
the lights are right on the pot.75watt plant lite,it didnt have any info on the lumens so i brought sum 100 watt cfls dat put out 1440 lumens.

i had germinated many seeds the tail came out.i have 2 75 watt plant lights.the plant lites didnt have any info on the lumens,so i brought sum 100 watt cfl and the lite output is 1440.the lite is 3inches away from the pot.i dont no where to buy any hps lites or a lamp to hold it.i will need a small hps lamp dont have big space.

and did ya place the tap root in the up positon? ..i normally just place bean in soil wait 3 days if i dont see anything i plant another..just my thaughts..as for small HPS..there a great DIY 70 watter HPS here in the "DIY" section..hope this helps..take care and be safe:bolt::bong:

last week,i have germanated 4 irie bagseeds.i planted them about 1/2 deep in soil.i have them under 2 reflector 100watts cfls.the lights are about 6inches away from plant.i put them on a 18/6hr cycle.

NOTHING pop out the soil yet.

this is my second time tryen to get the seed to pop the soil

what im doin wrong.

i also planted the seed with the tail facing the dirt.

i also water and keep moist.

You are planting them too deep, they only want to be 1/8th inch deep.

Probe the soil and see if you can see the seed growing under the soil.

keep in mind that even if you do everything u can some seeds just dont pop..

thks,an i just bought sum peat pots if i have to start over.i did dig around the dirt i couldnt find the seed.

i try planted seeds b4 and they never broke the soil.i dig around in the soil an saw my seed it still had its tail sitting out.the problem was it didnt grow from the gremanated stage.the tall was the same lenght as when i first put it in the soil.it was in the soil 4 about 2wks.why didnt the seeds contiune to grow when i put them in the soil

i just brought an all in one moisture,light and ph soil meter.it read my ph level alil over 7.the pointer is pointing close to the alkaline side off the meter.i brought two different soils.one is call "micale-gro cactus soil" and the other one i got is organic farfard potting soil. NOTE:I DIDNT MIX THE TWO SOIL 2GETHER.i lived in new jersey and cant find any of the soil i see people talking bout in my stores.iam using the rite soil if not what can i use
