Growing one plant indoors.

I need some help, a lot of you guys say that you let the plant veg for a month and then cut the light to 12 and 12 for flowering. Can you tell me how you get a plant to grow large enough in a month? I use Miracle grow and it seems to work well. I also use potting soil. My plants have been three feet tall but all males so far. I only grow one plant at a time. But it takes several months. I do use flouresent lights. Thanks.

i guess it all depends on your space.some want their plants short.when i get my grow moved,i will never flower before they get 18-20 inches tall.no matter how long it takes.why don't you plant more than 1,space issue or stealth issue?i would also recommend some quality seeds.jmo

a plant will double or triple in size once you get into flower so a plant that was 12 inches tall can possible reach 3 ft by the time its finnished
