I will be seeking out your help with the Critical Kush mostly for the first phases of the training.

I believe I understand and have an idea of how to get it started but I guess I don't have confidence. I think the screen i have will work I just want to start the training right.

This post was really helpful my brain finally can really start to understand what you are doing
I think when the start to train they top it first. Then start to pin down the other 4 branches. It will look kind of like a pinnwheel

That Critical Kush is a nice plant. I did some crazy bending on her last run and it kicked out over 8oz.

Early training for the plant can start when ya hit veg stage. As those secondaries get larger ya keep them low n spread out with some tie downs or whatever ya got. The main stem is bent to 90°. Doing all that helps form a platform for the floater to be attached later. Kinda like this..

Main at 90° and all other growth spread in all directions. Makes a nice base to start from.

This is an example of a larger plant I trained. Young plants are not as stressful. If you start training early there's not so much crushing and bending goin on.

One step closer today. Got the last 3 up potted to 7gal bags. I'll leave the floater off for a few days. Then throw it on and flip them to flower.

As the big tent ripens some I'll shuffle them into the big tent and fill this 4x4 with autos.

Had a little spill. I'll clean that up when it dries.

Love to watch you work bro.. nice
It's a shit show in there right now but in a few weeks it should take form nicely.

I'm throwing some into flower that haven't completely revegged. There's still lots of bud material on the plants. I dunno what the fk will happen but we're gonna find out..lol.

Okay, all set. Floaters in place. Going dark tonight so tomorrow will be day 1 for these.

1 SFV OGbx3
2 Blue Moon Rocks
1 Cap Junky

Something to watch this grow. These reg seed plant still have a lot of pistols and is not fully revegged yet.

She's going into flower anyway. Let's see what happens. I'll be shuffling these into the big tent soon. Then I'll fill this tent with some autos.

It took me all of about 20 min to reset these plants with the screens. Saves me a lot of fumbling with individual stems and tying down. Throw it on and goooo......!

I'm getting some nice growth coming forward on this Cap Junky. Most of the big secondaries have reached the edges of the screen and the growth underneath is starting to pop.
Last week....

And this week...

No further training on this one. It's on its own the rest of the way. I'm finding that training under the screen 1 wk works better. As the plant flowers the screen naturally rises in the canopy. Supporting buds and keeping things wide n flat.

The majority of the lower growth would be all larf if I was growing the natural way. By bringing forward all the plant has to offer I see bigger plants and higher yields.

Clone update.....

The GreenCrack MangoHp female I had got pretty sick. So I destroyed her. Last ditch effort to save her was to take clones so I took large clones.

I'm seeing the signs of rooting about to begin. Them white nodes are gaining ground. It'll be nice to have clones this size. If they reveg fast I'll have room for them in flower soon.

The Cap Junky is coming alive with all the new growth from below. That growth will contribute a lot of bud to this yeild. I'm excited to see how this plant does.

I'm really liking how these Cap Junkys are developing

Cap Junky...3wks 12/12

#2 plant is spread out pretty well. She's still got a long way to go.

This plant here #3 has a deeper canopy with all the taller buds along the perimeter of the floater screen. This allows all that lower growth to develop some nice buds to add to the yeild.

This SFV OGbx3 clone has filled the screen and I'm not sure how all this will come together but it's happening.

Being not fully revegged it's now trying to kick out serrated leaf finally. It's gonna be a bushy one. I may have to thin it out a little. There's so many branches I worry of overcrowding. I'll let it develop a little more and go from there. It's a little over a week in flower.
