Germ time / bad seed?

Hi everone.. I started germin 4 seeds . the 2 afghan kush I ordered and 2 frebbies. all femed.. All but one of the seeds popped with a tap root.. They all started Wednesday and today is Saturday..My question is how long should I give a seed before I should say ok its no good.. It has been germin for 4 days now.. It sinks in water and is 1 one the afghan kush I ordered.. Thanks ya;; Hero ( PS before anyone asks.. it is in a small bowl in coffee filters inside a zip lock that is half unzipped..)

I would hope it doesn't take as long for you but I had one take a month to germ. I had given up and thrown it out only to take another look when I took out the trash and found it had a tap root.

The fem Northern Lights and the Fem Acapulco gold I got recently have been 7 days so far in a wet paper towel in a zip lock and haven't cracked, the rest took less than 24 hours.

I tried the ziplock bag method and my germ rate was shocking, 2 out of 12 seeds. Also tried placing them in warm surroundings, 70 deg or so, 30%!
With the paper towel, covered by a plate in a cool wardrobe its 100% and never longer than 2 days. Just shows how different methods work for different people.
