They both really liked it. It just didn't really knock them on their back sides; like a horny, muscled, gay, prison inmate.

That crazy vancouver guy: you can bet there'll be one. I can't guarantee that it'll read very coherently, but there will be one.

Photos:
first three: These are of the largest plant. It's coming along; trichomes are getting clowdy and starting to show up on more leaves, the buds are beginning to fatten some, the pistils are starting to wither, and it's starting to smell a bit.

second two: These are of the plant that got chopped. It's still developing. I'm going to take this one to amber.

all the rest: This is the seeded plant. I'm glad I chose this one. The buds are really dense and the branches are set up so that the plant can get alot of light. I'm going to have to mark these seeds and make sure to pick what I decide to continue breeding from them. In any case, here's where the development is on this plant now. The trichomes are cloudy for the most part and covering all but the larger sun leaves, the calyxs are swelling, very few of the pistils are withering at this point, and the plant has a definite smell eminating now. I'll assume it's finishing so quickly because it was seeded. I read somewhere (Might have been an issue of hight times) that, that makes the plant mature faster. I don't know how true that is. I'm going to harvest this one in the near future. I've been keeping an eye on the trichomes. As soon as they go full clowdy, or start showing signs of amber... BLAMO! She'll never see it coming. Now that I'm thinking about it, I should take a couple clones from the bottom of the plant.

Catch you guys in another week...

Yeah, it's not time for my usual update, but I have a question/concern.

The plant I harvested is already getting some amber trichomes and the largest one is getting cloudy. However, the plant that was seeded is the only one that the buds are really fattening up on (I'll be chopping that one soon, by the way.) I want these plants to really develop, but I don't want to go too far into the amber stage. I certainly don't want to go too far past peak potency and end up with ditch weed. None of my other plants have ever behaved this way; so this is all new to me. Any other time that I start to see amber, the buds are already fattening up. Since the trichomes are already getting cloudy and amber, should I really try to wait until the seed pods swell and fill with resin? I'd hate to invest all this time, only to end up with a low potency or realllllly stony end product. More power to the people that like to be really stoned, but I like to be really high. Not that I mind a good stone from time to time...

In any case, there's alot of experts here. So what do you think?

your whole point to seeding the plant was to make seeds... therefore, it seems reasonable to take as long as needed for the seeds to be of optimal condition.... regardless of bud harvesting state. THC production was already deminished on the plant when it became pollinated.

don't even worry about the trichome condition... be more concerned about seed condition.

Thanks, the one that was seeded actually has some pretty fat buds. The seeds are ready as well. I've even plucked and germinated some, to check. That's the one I'm going to harvest soon. It's the other two that I'm worried about.

By the way, I'd also like to thank you for being so helpful in general. You always seem to be there with useful information and great grow journals.

That crazy vancouver guy, made a good point about the seeds. Since they were done, and the plant was where I wanted it, I went ahead and harvested that one. I had pictures of some of the seeds too, but they were too blurry to be of use. The wet weight was only about 55g. I'm not going to bother weighing dry, but it should come out to less than an ounce. One down and one and a half to go... I'll be back with my usual update in a few days.

It's only letting me upload three pictures, so I'll do this with a couple post.

Alright, I'm down to one and a half plants... at least as far as this grow journal is concerned. The previous two post show the largest plant. It's getting quite top heavy. I may have to actually tie it up at some point. I don't want the stalk to snap  These last two pictures are of the plant that I harvested earlier. The buds are starting to fatten up nicely.

Looks great. Nice work my friend. Keep us posted on your final weights. Take care and be safe.

I'll be back with my usual weekly photos in a day or so. For now, another smoke report. So of course you all know what I'm doing right now... typing. Anyhoo:

amount: .7g

method: seven inch glass bong, with large bowl (My favorite)

speed: The high comes on very fast; ten minutes in this case.

Duration: The high last about an hour or two. It's hard for me to judge since I usually smoke over a period of time. For you guys, this time, the bong was attacked head on.

cure: dried and cured for about week. The bud turned a nice golden color, with crystally green sprinkled here and there. I'm not big on curing, but I'm starting to slowly come around. I wonder what it'll be like in a month or two.

smell: Someone suggested that it smelled like old dried flowers, and I concur. Of course, that's pretty much what it is. In addition, it's got a very peppery smell.

taste: If you could mix Grape Nuts cereal with that dehydrated icecream stuff that they say astronauts eat and smoke it, that would basically be it. Maybe mix a little swampass in there with it... yeah, that would be it.

Smooothnesssssss: This is a smooth smoke with just a hint of harshness thrown in. I think the harshness is the swampass. Yeah, that's what that is.

Trichomes: On this one it was 70% clowdy, maybe a little more and no amber.

high - stone ratio: heady high with a mild body stone. This is definitely a relaxed happy high. It'll make you want to do things. However, you'll want to do things that you can do while sitting or standing in one place. It's clear headed and you can get lost in whatever you're doing easily. So it's productive. It's not trippy, like the ice was for me. So you can still function in society.

First the big girl. The trichomes are cloudy on her. I didn't see any real amber in there, so I'll let her go for a bit. I doubt you can tell from the photo, but the plant's actually leaning from the weight of the cola. I had to move it slowly to take photos, so I didn't snap the stalk. The yellow leaves are from being burnt by the heat of the light. I'm not worried about it at this late stage.

Now for the smaller plant. Oddly enough, when I checked the trichomes this time, they were mostly clear! It's not that surprising considering there's new growth all over the plant.

I'm going to start checking pretty frequently now, and harvest when I start seeing the first signs of amber.
