This is my first time doing this. My plant is 30 days old.

Sorry for the crappy pictures. Im just trying to get familiar with the process and working with plants. I have it tied down in 2 places. I have about 84 watts on it right now(UPDATE 11/27- 52 more watts added for a total of 136 watts). Money is an issue so I don't have the greatest lights but im doing what I can with what I have at this point. I will invest more later. I am thinking I might need to get it some food. There is nice growth underneath all those top leaves. I tied it down about 6 days ago, and have worked it down bit by bit. I think the plant would be about 12-14 inches tall if it hadn't been tied. The stem goes down in the dirt a little bit. She doing fine after being transplanted 2 weeks ago.

Any Comments???

Should I add another 42 watts?? Do you think that would help the yield much?

Should I be doing any toping??

Thanks

Thats very impressive for only 84 watts. The more light, the more it'll grow.If you add a few 100 watt output cfls in there during flowering-with some LST you'll should get a nice yeild.

Good luck.

Yea that is impressive for that much low wattage, Looks good man!
Keep doing what your doing seems to be working!

very nice for 80+ watts. you should just go to your local hardware store and purchase a cheap 48" shoplight fixture, then get two 40 watt bulbs fer another 80 watts, youll have over 160 then.. course i dont know anything about your grow room at all so im just tossin ya some ideas since you like fluoro's

welcome to MP, nice 1st plant there:hubba: if money is an issue try to find a cheap small hps:that will boost you grow:D

yea more light and get that plant in a bigger pot asap if thats what i think it is its like a cerial bowl cause i got about 2 our 4 of them i eat out of ..but yes ur plants look great for low light u get u some more light like the outhers said it will even grow a lot better so good luck bud and happy growing

Added another light so im up to 106 watts. My grow space is pretty small. I have it set up under a desk that doesnt get used. So there is about 3 1/2 feet for me to work with. I live in an apt so I dont have much space. But I have a few questions.

When should I start flowering??

Should I get some plant food or fert??

How much taller will it get during flowering??

if it was my plant i would wait 2-3 more weeks , then switch it in to flowering dont want the thing to get to massive if your worried about space , it will tripple in size in flowering stage ,

You can start flowering once you see alternating nodes or pre flowers. This is a sign that your plant is mature and ready for flower. This takes about 6 to 8 weeks depending on strain. Some people toss them right into flower from seed but we like to wait until mature. Yes at some point you will need some nutes for her. They will stretch 1 to 2 feet once put into flower depending on strain. Did i foget to mention your baby looks great. GREEN MOJO!

Here are some shots of the setup. I usually have a big poster frame covered with foil blocking the open spot, but I either leave a spot open for the fan, or I poistion the fan under the other side and block the entire part.

Hopefully thats another stalk I see growing there!!

EDIT. The yellow you might see if from light burn on one instance, and the bottom 2 leafs have been a tad yellow since I transplanted. Doesn't seem to be spreading at all.

Very nice.A dose of Nitrogen should fix the yellowing.
