So my kids are in thier 3 days of flowering, nothing new growth wise which is kinda makin me a bit nervous. I havent determined the sex as of yet, but i dont see anything that would be even close to a male :). But im not sure, here are some pic's let me know what you guys think. I know they are a really stretched out, but thats cause i left for a week, and other people didnt know any better. 2 42 Watt CFL, and i think the other ones are 24?

Soil is crap, wish i didnt buy it, its the Miracle grow moisture control crap... it keeps water well, but im not sure of the drainage.

Water is 1/2 tsp. miracle grow, and just a pinch of epsom salt for Mg. Also sticking with the 1 mL of SuperThrive.

Let me know what i can change for my next grow, i already know there is alot to do, but thanks for looking!:D:48:

You plants are looking nice and healthy. Good work. Only thing I see that can use some changing is your lighting... But you are already aware of that it seems. Welcome to the forum and I am looking forward to seeing some nice buds! :smoke1:

:yeahthat: like DL said you will need better lighting. It looks like you got about eight plants and I doubt your lighting will be enough to flower them all. What strain are you growing?

they are just bag seed, and i only have 4, lol there is just a mirror in there cause i have nowhere else to put it

So i removed the mirror, and put up some white table cloths that i picked up for a buck at a dollar store. Did some foliar feeding right after the lights went out. Now i have a question, what is the best way to go about foliar feeding? Just a few sprays? I kinda just soaked em down, and turned the fan up. Yall think thats a bad idea or no?

Looking good. Nice and healthy. Might want to add some light like everyone else said.

nah. I'd go and pick me 2 of the 2700 lumen ge bulbs they have at wally world. You'll thank us later :p.

Ill have to pick some more fixtures and bulbs tomorrow :) Thanks!

I had a thought, are the 2700 good for flowering?

4th day of flowering, and i still cant determine sex? I see nothing that looks like balls or hairs :X

No big deal. Give them a couple days. Should be able to tell within the next week for sure.

So a few of my leaves on some of the plants dont look all that great... Brown, deadish, droopy, and curled under on the one plant. I have been watering only when the soil is dry, and i have been doing foliar feeding after the lights go out for the past 2 nights. Here are some pictures, let me know what yall think the problem might be.

In the first picture it looks like it could be some kind of PH problem or a defeciency. I'll let someone who knows more about that do the diagnosing though. On the 2nd picture it definitely looks like under or overwatering.

I have been checking the pH for a while now, it reals about 7 with the kit i have. I have been watering them only when the soil feels dry, but its that miracle grow moisture control stuff, so im not sure, there might be dry pockets?

Im far from expirienced but this is 1 problem i had with spritzing (foliar feeding/ spraying).
Early on in my grow i sprayed them every night after the lights went off. This caused the humidity levels to rise from 45% to a massive 95% :(.
Theory behind this this is simple... On a summers day humidity levels are approx 40- 50%, summers night is approx 80%, direct light = less humidity.
We need to simulate a tropical climate, with minimal night humidity in order to keep our plants mould free and healthy. Also humidity plays a huge part in the amount of THC your plant produces. The plant secreates/ sweats a type of oil to protect itself from heat. Keeping this level correct is essential in the production of a potent flower/bud. Humidity too high the plant gets lazy and dosnt want to sweat this oil, humidity too low makes it dry out and the plant cant handle the heat.

Hope this helps,
Cheers....

Hmm... that might explain the half dead leaves? Ive only been doing this for like 2 nights because i think there is a Mg deff with the plants, and others have said the same thing so im still looking into it. But if there isnt any changes you thing i should just spray some stuff in front of the fan to keep up the humidty when the lights are on?

Its either that or you can just put a couple of plates between your pots with water on them and that should evaporate.
A small fan on them would do it wonders if you dont already have 1 going.

Cheers...
