Ok More I grow the more questions. So just went from MG all purpose to Flora Nova Grow 7-4-10 today. In between fertilizing I use Super Thrive to water and everyday misting. This is on my Veg plants. Fertilize 2 times a week. Any input?


Blooming plants I use Alaskan MorBloom 0-10-10 2 times a week. And normal watering I use the same Super Thrive and mist daily with it also. Any input?



There is also Bat Guano mixed with all plants.

No. Don't mix the Flora Nova grow with the other nute. Is there a reason that you are not using a bloom nutrient formulated for mj?

I also do not understand why you are misting everyday? Do you have a deficiency?

Are you talking about using Flora Nova Bloom?
I mist every morning when the lights come on. I just figure it was the right thing to do?

Curious why you figured it was the right thing to do? I only mist my plants if they have a deficiency that needs to be addressed right away. Or sometimes in the summer if the RH is really low.

I do mean something like Flora Nova Bloom, but not Flora Nova Bloom. While I love Flora Nova Grow, I do not use the Bloom as I have had problems with it. I use General Hydroponics Flora series for flowering. The series consists of 3 parts--grow, micro, and bloom. You use different amounts of each depending on where you are in your growing phase. However, I use the Lucas formula which uses the Micro and Bloom, but no grow.

If you are vegging, why are you not running your lights 24/7?

In my Veg I am 24/7 and 12/12 in my bloom. As far as misting there are write ups on the net that say it is good to mist your plants in the morning do to the best time and the get a lot of there nutrition thru there leaves. But you know better then me. So if it is not good to do I will stop. Makes things easier. LOL What problems have you had with Flora Nova Bloom? I ordered it but it just did not arrive the same time as the Flora Nova Grow. Might add that I started the first dose of Flora Nova grow at 2 tsp to a gallon.

Yes I started my grow way before finding this forum. So relearning LOL Yes I have read a lot of what THG has said and has great info and lots of help. Bad part is this site has made me spend another $300 this week. LOL

It is spendy to start up, but after that it is not an expensive hobby. Well, it is addicting, the growing part and you can go crazy, but you don't have to.

I thought i was hot stuff when i bought a 400 watt light, then i came here and was quickly told I was under lit. I added a 600 and never looked back. You have to replace the bulbs yearly or so, I think.

Yes been doing growing and flowering with T5 then got told to change to 600 watt light for flowering. Well $250 later have a 600 watt 42" umbrella coming in the mail. So ya I understand that.

Have you considered what it is going to take to cool that? Hoods that are not air-coolable can be quite difficult to keep cool. It there a specific reason you ordered the 42" umbrella hood?

No reason other then figure the umbrella will let me get cool air easier and that it has a good open 42" area that will reflect down. To cool it I will be using good fans.

As posted up above I have.
Flora Nova Grow. I am using it at 2 TSP a gallon on its first time 3 days ago. Should I be mixing it higher or lower? Most of my plants growing are anywhere from 4" to 12" now. Depending on when I started them from seed.

Flora Nova Bloom So I have 4 plants 2 weeks into flower and have this Bloom on its way. For those that use it at what ratio do you use it?

Well learned 2 tsp is a little hot for starters.
