i hve a planet not sur the strain its under 1000w 12on 12 off it has been in bud 4 a month an ahalf or more the buds r makein theplanet fall over but all hairs r still white how long do i wait? i heard when the hairs r mostly changed it is ready when will it change or will it an would the smoke b any good now

if ur buds are knocking ur stems over then ur stems/stalks are to weak ur gonna have to tie them up, and jsut cuz it has hairs doesn't mean a thing about if its ready to smoke those hairs are what form the smoke u got a long way to go yet. be patient

If it's been flowering about a month and a half you still have a couple of weeks to go. It all depends on strain really, anywhere between 7 and 12 weeks. You dont judge by pistil or "hair colour". You go by trichome colour. A magnifying glass is neccessary to see.

If you want a more heady buzz, harvest when trichomes are cloudy. If it's couchlock yer after wait till half of them have turned amber.

As regards the buds weighing the plant over, try to support them. A bit of string and thumbtack it to the wall or ceiling should work. Good luck
