Water, alcohol and a little dish soap will kill their *** every time.
I remember the last time I was battling mites, some people said it is recommended that you rotate 3 different treatment courses because(as you said, the mites become tolerant). As hopper says above, the alcohol, soap and water could be your second. I have used DE, Lost Coast Plant Therapy, Dr Zymes and spinosad in the past. The DE shouldn’t be used in flower since it is an irritant but I think the others are accepted as safe in flower.I am not believing my eyes today after the third application of abamectin aka avid the mites are still alive. I think that because it is widely used in all my area that the mites are tolerant to it. I have no other explanation. After the first two attempts i thought the bottle is expired i went and bought a fresh one to try. So frustrating and i am switching to flowering soon i will try sulfur tomorrow. This will be an uphill battle i have been there.

I cannot handle the heat of covering up or having to reach all sides of leaves. My grow is not that small and everything is automated it feels primitive to have to do that. I need the beneficials' army. Fumigating foliar feeding or spinosad is another story. It is fun and easy to do and you dont have to go to the underside of each and every leaf but mites are frustrating to deal with in this way especially when i am trying chemical pesticides and that ******* surviving.Use Forbid, and rotate with Floramite, and Avid. Forbid, kills eggs. It is an Ovicide. Use Forbid first. Wait 10 days. Use Floramite. If theyre gone, dont apply anyhting else.
Also, all 3 of these have been detected in plants for up to 6 months.
