Are Message Boards/ Forums a thing of the past?....

Good Morning!

Is it just me or does it seem like people just are not using Forums and Message Boards to communicate and relay information like they did 10-20 years ago.....

It seems like most of those that are still hanging around message boards are 30+ years old...

Have we just not adapted to technology/ the times? Are we dinosaurs clinging on to a dying nostalgic past?

Never did chat rooms, facebook, twiter or any social media stuff But pot forums. I belong here and that is all I do. Lots from marijuana forums now do Instagram ..... never even logged in.....

I will be on places like this until I no longer know/am able to log on. I like hanging with like minded people.....no I don't give a fock what you had for dinner.

For me, the only resource I have found that compares to Message Boards in terms of a reference source, is YouTube. There are a lot of good YouTube videos out there about marijuana cultivation, so watching those can sometimes save you having to come to a message board.

I will say, the overall layout and look of this message board is very appealing and user-friendly. This was actually the 2nd forum I had clicked on. The first 1 I clicked on had some horrible layout that looked way confusing so I left and that is when I found MP.

I hope as more and more states adapt more and more liberal marijuana laws, whether medical or recreational, hopefully more people will find this forum and join us

I like youtube and eventually you will get what on the legalization part. Two entity's will exist....gov't controled and black market.

Marijuana Legalization isnt so much about who controls the product as it was about getting rid of judicial penalties/ incarcerations for marijuana use/possession. People who were getting criminal records from simple use.

There are still a decent number of states that dont even have Medical Marijuana yet, Like Tennessee. That might be an alright place to settle down. Texas as well, surprisingly. Once I get Cultivation things up and running, I would really like to dive more into the Activism side and at least get a good lay of the land and where things stand in some of the more restricted-states.

Netflix is going to the heap....for crying out loud, I was sort of pleased with recent movie focus coming back to horror, but does a typical horror movie, you know with vampires, werewolves, etc. have to cast everything in race and sexual orientation? As soon as I see a minority as a transgender monster, I am done. Not a platform for such issues, this is an entertainment platform, (Netflix) not a political-sexual orientation, race relations platform it is a frigging monster movie!

If they are going to turn it into a PC controlled platform for political and social propaganda, I am out.

If it wasn't for that ridiculous "Stranger Things" I would have dumped their commie patushes already.

They should read Vladimir Lenin's writings on how America would be changed to communism. It will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up!

Lenin felt that to do this, it could never be called communism, they would, he felt never accept that. It must be called "democratic socialism"......sound familiar?

Next, Lenin said that "American family values would have to be destroyed. Lenin calculated this could be accomplished by making divorce easy to obtain, and similarly easy abortion. Feminism would need to be promoted as well.

PLEASE, these are Lenin's thoughts and words, not mine. Similarly I am not saying he was correct either, just stating what Lenin felt was the path to accomplish communism in the US of A.
