Any ideas why?

I have two plants and both of them have buds that got no light it seem they are real yellow . I was using a lot of kelp in my teas can that be the cause for it? I recently read it stops vertically growth and is considered a natural PGR.

Bleaching maybe were the buds very close to your lights

Picture doesn't show what I'm talking about all that much. The nodes stacked so close that rhe buds further down are not getting light and are all yellow and look sickly. This pic shows it better.
