Moved to Missouri from Wisconson last year and looking forward to longer growing season. Up north I just put em in the ground and used ferts and they grew. We have had alot of rain but whats wrong with these? Not enough sun? Did just give them alittle nutes 2 days ago.

Thanks for any help

What a pain. Been 5 years still can't get it right. Way to much work for a weed. I see why because of the price and hassle to grow why so many just take meds.... who has the patience or time to mess with this? Seemed ALOT easier in the 70's..

Looking at that pic your problem is caused because you have not prepaired your grow, you have just put them in the soil, when growing outside you need to dig a hole 2ft x 2ft and put a quality medium in it, those plants are growing in mud that has had all its nutrients used up, having wild weeds growin in the same spot is only going to strip the mud of even more nutrients, what you have is nute burn, give them no feed for 10 days just water, and if your in a rainy area, let the rain water them, MJ has lived for thousands and thousands of years, its no harder growing them now than it was 200 years ago, your the problem, not the plants :)

hey buddy
1st you need to weed out all the weeds next to your plants
2nd you need to give them more space bout 2 feet apart will be fine
3rd did you amend the soil?
4th dont water them till the soil drys out
5th dont use ferts till their about a foot tall
hope i helped
