the splashin of the water from the bubbles will moisten the rocks enuf to make the roots grow. the roots will find the water. they will grow down into it.
I just take my fresh cut clone and stick it deep into the net pot with hydroton and raise the water level to just touch the bottom of the net pot. Then when your clone takes root you will be ready. Dont use any nutrient while your waiting on roots. They will start showing after a week or two...
How is things goin with this one. I'm curious as to what you find. I also have this problem with my white widow. Just cant seem to put my finger on what the problem is.
go ahead and put a drop or two in and seal it back up. may want to wet a small peice of sponge and put that in there. give it a day and check it again. i wouldnt worry about mold if its too dry.
get that sponge out of there when it moistens back up. dont want to make it too moist.
Sure you can vegg on flouro's. I do it all the time. Remember to keep your lights close to the tops of the plants to prevent stretching.
I have a rack of 4 two bulb shop lights mounted together and only plug in 1 for seedlings. As the plant grows I plug in the extra lights. Use cool white...
I would collect some pollen and brush it on the buds hairs to make sure. Just bringing the females into the room with the males for 5 mins wont be enuf. The pollen will need some help getting to the bud sites via wind, fan, bee's, or human with small paint brush. :)
I agree, DWC. I recirculate my DWC during flower using a pump from the reservoir to all the buckets and drains all hooked together and back the the res. Makes it easy to maintain with a reservoir.
need to be nice to the leo's (i know, thats a hard thing to do). dont draw any attention that leads them your way to check you out. keep your mouth shut and tell no one. hope you have great success.
i never had much luck with any kind of glue. run the end of your hose thru a stainless steel nut or two. that should hold the stone down. i think stainless should do for this. someone correct me if i'm wrong. :)
I never starve my plants the last few weeks before harvest. IMO, that is the time that your plant puts on lots of bud. Starving your plant will not help bud production, and thats what we want. I feed em all the way up till I chop em. And it does feel good to have the best smoke in town. :)...
If you are afraid of it, then you dont need to mess with it, you could be killed. but if you do mess with the wiring, remember to shut off the main breaker before doing any wire connecting. I do this stuff all the time, but I'm not afraid of it. :)
I use a 1 gallon rubbermaid container. Keep the light out. I used aluminum tape to do that with. I drilled a dozen 1/4" holes in the lid to place my cuts in. Dont use any nutes in the water. I use plain RO water in the cloner. Cut with a clean razor blade dipped in alcohol to kill germs...
