Anybody Used This For P.h. Down ? It's Battery Acid. Don't Want To Piss Off General Hydroponics Or Any One Else In The Industry. But It Works Well. Sorry If This Is A Double Post I Didn't Look Clear Through All Of The Threads. Just Wanted To Share This Lovely Tip.

I dont think it has anything in it thats good for your plant. I would buy the ph down stuff from a hydro store cause it has what your plant likes.

Just make a solution out of water and crushed gnc vit C pills? its very hard to find clean sulf. i did alot of questionable reactions with it when i belonged to totse and i could never find stuff i felt was clean enough for nitration, let alone being incorporated into an ecosystem. when you buy it and its black/brown, just remember, h2so4 is clear, and none of the colored things are on the label(no they arnt just dyes)

it's clear for motorcycly batteries.definitely clean.eloctrolytes wont function correctly,in battery, if not purified.all the stuff my plants need are in my nutrients right ? i have gh ph up and down but there's no store around here at all had to order. don't like that ****.they sell this stuff at advanced auto.$6.59 not sure how much in plastic jug.do the clones from bagseed in my atavar look lacking in anything ? if so please tell me. don't want to kill my gals.thanks for input

i dilute it with r/o water.1 part h2o4 to 15 parts h2o. but you're right it is a little caustic to be playing with.thanks for the input. oh is there something in gh ph down that the plants need,that i don't know about? i am pretty new to this also.i just research and try things that benefit the cause.

I used something called "pH Minus" made for my hot tub when I was out of the GH pH down and it worked just fine.

DWFaamer, what you are doing is fine, in fact I know for a fact that Wild Thing nutrients (and more than likely a few others) use H2SO4 diluted and resell it as ph down.

Yeah, make sure you dilute it before you add it to your reservoir or you run the risk of burning them.
