Going to start a quick indoor grow, I dropped seeds in the water to prep for germination. Thanks to @Carty and @MariJan , I'll be trying Celtic Stone, and c99, along with Afghan and Monster Cookies from Bootleg seeds. Just 3 apiece to hopefully get one lady of each. I've got a RQS Critical Mass fem soaking as well. Goal is to get the healthiest specimen of each and run one of each strain in a quest for variety over quantity. I've got a local pal who'll take any excess.
Five plants in a 2x4 is too much, but I'll do a short veg period to keep them small. Hopefully I can ID the sexes without too much hassle. We've had good luck with this in the past. Last grow yielded almost 12 oz with 3 plants. I'd be content with 10 or so from whatever I end up running.
I'll see what I like best and run those in the next round and outdoors this summer. I also have three crosses from seeds I made last year. Certainly the Celtic & c99 will be tried outside. The same two generous donors have provided some autos which I'll try for the first time. I've got Gabagoo and three different Beast mode varieties.
It's nice to have an active grow and journal again!

I love doing the reg seed shuffle. Yeah, them seeds take an extra step but it's usually well worth it. Ya just never know what you'll find.

Celtic stone will be in my summer grow as well
I am going to do a bro grimm grow for round one of my summer grow. The plants will hit the outside March first most likely. With our colder than usual winter it may be march 15th this year. Either way I am sprouting them in the next few days. Most of the solo cups are done. I will start harvesting them today. Gmojo jojo was a fast lil thing. I am interested in how it will hit in a capsule. I am really figging the capsules. Thanks to @Oscarzuma fir suggesting them. My lungs feel free. I can breath and I and still getting the benefit. I think next time I will but the size smaller capsules a few strains send me to the moon.

Well, I botched my first batch of germinating seeds. They were on a variable heating pad and the thermostat sensor got bumped off resulting in too warm temperatures. They cracked and started to open but nothing developed.
So three days ago, I taped the sensor down and started over. No presoaking of the beans this time. Two and a half days later and I've got nice size tails growing out of all of them. So today they went into the dirt in solo cups inside a plastic box I also use for cloning. They're under fluorescent shop lights and on the heating pad until they sprout. Then, into the tent they go.
I haven't grown anything since September, so I'm a bit excited to get going again.

The seeds are:
Celtic Stone thanks @Carty
C99. thanks @MariJan
Afghani. Bootleg seeds
Monster Cookies, also Bootleg
Critical Mass. RQS, and the only fem in the bunch

Eager to see how they develop. Afghani strains grow well outside in my climate. C99 will give me a pure sativa strain that is known to finish fast, so may be suitable for outdoors. And from how Carty described Celtic Stone, I have high hopes for them. Now, I'm just praying for ladies of the four regular strains, at least one healthy one from each. I germed three beans of each except for a single Critical.
