I agree. We had a male cat that started pissing blood years ago. Spraying our furniture with it. Vet put him on some food for it. It helped a bit but the final cure was we started to let him go outside. One vet said cats get a more healthy diet when they go outside. He was right. He lived another decade. Smartest cat I ever had. He could cradle a bell we put on his collar to warn critters he was coming. By cradling it, he was stealthy enough to catch and kill squirrels. Watched him do it a couple of times.Wow, that's insane. You might consider the catheter part and not the surgery. There are diets that can disolve bladder stones without the surgery.
One of a kind...dogs need grain for healthy hearts, a medical fact...I've got Ivan scheduled for a full hip replacement in 4 weeks, you think 8K is a lot, I've got more than double that so far in the little guy and would do it again...he's more like my child than he is a pet...can I afford it, helll no but I will make it happen...selling a car of mine is on the table to fund this upcoming expense...just watching him run around playing with Dutch is all the justification I need...
