I love to cook, too. Just got a call from the Old Hen asking if I'd make a pot of bean soup if she picked up a smoked ham. Sure! Winter is the time for soups & stews. I'm game for any of 'em, especially since I've got the insta-pot figured out (kinda).

I love my insta pot. The hard candy takes patients. It is worth it though. I mailed 3 containers today in priority boxes hope they make it by Christmas

The Old Hen bought one. It sat around for six months and I could see it being sold in the next garage sale for pennies on the dollar, so I started using it. She still doesn't mess with it, but I use it frequently. Most all of my old squad pot recipes work great in it with about a quarter of the time and effort. You cut up what needs cutting up, toss it in the insta-pot, hit the right buttons, and walk away.
