That's our next 10 Caribbean vacations that we won't be taking now. I did all I could to discourage my wife, but she's wanted a pool since I've known her. Wonder if I can get one of the neighbor's kids to get us drinks while we float around the pool : )

Looks like a nice pool for sure. Just put on some Harry Belafonte and hang out by the pool and you have the Caribbean steps away from your door. Bonus points for getting the neighbor kid to bring drinks…

My wife is unconcerned with the pita part of owning a pool. She is confident she can get her husband to do all the cleaning and maintenance, even if he rarely gets in the water himself <sigh>

My mother-in-law loves her pool. My FIL loathes it for the same reason. He hasn’t been in the pool in a decade…

4th time in almost 60 years. It is lucky. The whackiest viewing was flying from Taipei to Detroit where the flight path goes up along the Alaskan coast. This was the most brilliant color-wise though.

Had 11 big ole brown grass puppies in the yard last night. All of 'em were bald headed. Bucks probably come in at night.

Bald headed? Is that a health condition? He be heard of a wasting disease in deer around here and ticks were so bad here a couple years ago, moose were losing a lot of fur.

With the racks those boys were carrying, I imagine that they've been harvested or at least hiding in deep cover. Massive antlers on 'em. 20 years ago, I'd have thumped one, but now a days, I just enjoy their company.

My Pepper's are growing like crazy.
Chili Pequin and Cheyenne.
My wife make Cheyenne powder. I put that shit on everything I eat.
And my tomatoes are still producing. 1st time I've ever. Normally they are burned up by September. Those fking umbrellas made all the difference in the world.

I like the cheap, healthy meat. Only reason I hunt. I’d sooner shoot a spike or doe than shoot a big buck.

I had me a 10x12 Storage room built.
It's setting on a pad with a porch.
It's got 9ft side walls and I put a shelf at 6ft all the way around for storage bins and stuff. It has sliding windows at the top on both ends. Now I can get my other attached storage cleaned out for a big grow room for my plants in the winter and of course my weed. I decided not to grow in my Pantry.

I still have tomatoes growing. 1st time they lived this long. Normally the Texas heat kills them by August or September. Those fking Umbrellas made all the difference. Haven't needed them since October.
Peppers and everything else is growing like crazy. Yehaaaaaaaaaa
