One lawnmower, one tractor with a 72 inch finish cut, one tractor with a 60 inch bush hog, and a turf cutting machine… I spend a lot of time keeping up the Homestead and like to have the proper equipment to do the job…Very nice. Must have a riding mower!
Here's a picture of the back. Creek is low this time of year so you won't see it.I have been doing the same. I like to have the tools. When I was young and ripped all the time I lived like a vagabond. I had years where paid me $60 for my tax returns. I used to go up into the hills above Eugene Or. and pitch a sheet of plastic buy some hot springs where no one wore cloths. I would do this every summer. When the sun came out I would quit my job and hitch hike down their. The last year I did it I stayed till October. I was not going to come back down but the rain had other ideas. I have a pretty good lot here almost an acre. But it a lot of hill and a creek. I keep it weed eted and planted lots of trees and clumps of Banana plants. No one else on the creek takes care of it so its all overgrown. Which is fine with me. No one can get to my area without hacking blackberry's.
Damn. I could stare at that for a minute...Here's a picture of the back. Creek is low this time of year so you won't see it.
I grew up way out in the sticks - the closest State Road had almost no traffic after 6-7 PM, kind of out in the sticks. Mostly trucks hauling oranges, at that. When I was a kid, we could see the Milky Way, even if we were in town. For being right in town not bad. But I would love to get further out. That's why my are having a hard finding a place to move. I would like to live way away from everything and she wants to be by a bigger town but outside of it. I understand her thinking for medical and such.
Yeah I have pretty good health for 70 I'm most like my mother in our family and she was trucking along real will tell 83. Then she got Dementia and went downhill fast. Almost all her family had it. I'm trying to keep my mind active with lots of herb's and doing projects to keep me going. But I can almost feel stuff slipping in my head. But maybe some of that is normal. Growing up I moved in between Denver Colo to a small town in Northern Washington and I always liked the little town most. My wife also has lots of medical stuff going on. She's 10 years younger than me and has at least 15 surgery's. She is the reason I started growing pot again for CBD to help her. It works pretty well.I grew up way out in the sticks - the closest State Road had almost no traffic after 6-7 PM, kind of out in the sticks. Mostly trucks hauling oranges, at that. My wife grew up in a suburb, which I didn't even really know existed until I was in my 20's!
I MUCH prefer rural, but she's a Type1 diabetic and wants to be close to docs and hospitals. I get it.
