what fluoro spectrum for seedings??

HI Everybody thanks 4 reading my thread!!

i just got a 6x24watt t5 light for my seedlings fitst 3-4 weeks and would like some advice on what spectrum globes i should be useing and how close shold the lights be to the plants in the seedking - 3 week stage??

please help me if u can.

Most everyone says cool white (6500kelvin). I use a mix of both soft white (2800K) and the Cool whites. IME the plants liked a full spectrum more than just one part of the spectrum. The closer to the sun we can mimic the better i would think.

Go with the Daylight spectrum.. 6500 K

i am currently using 8 6500k and 8 3000k T8's and am getting great results. i used the same spectrum mix on my last 2 grows but they were only 12 T12's...btw, i spent a total of $160 to build a 16 bulb T8 fixture complete with bulbs
