Hi To All.i Am New To The Pleasures Of Growing And Am Having A Ball.i Was Going To Plant Outside But Due To Some Problems I Thought It Wise To Grow Inside.it Cost Me A Small Fortune.i Bought A Grow Tent,400w Hps & Mh Light Setup.it Got Too Hot In The Tent So I Bought 2 Fans,1 To Exhaust The Light And 1 To Exhaust The Tent.i Also Have A Small Fan Inside The Tent.everything Seems To Be Going Well,so Far.the Plants Are About 16 Ins. Tall Now And Looking Good.
I Look Forward To Learning Alot From You All.as I Need Plenty Of Help.not Knowing When To Let Them Flower And The Sex.i Believe I Can Figure Out The Sex Deal When It Gets Time.got Them On 18 Hrs Of Light Now And Growing Like Crazy.thanks To You All.

Ok you want to flower as soon as the plants reach about a third the size you want them too. But it all depends. How big is your grow tent and how many plants do you have going... Let us know a little moor about your setup. And pics would be awesome...

Hi,thanks For The Warm Welcome. My Tent Is 3.5x3.5x6.7. I Have Just 5 Plants In The Tent Now.sure Hope A Couple Are Female.seems Like I Should Be Able To Tell By Now.i Constantly Look With A Magnifing Glass,but Nothing Yet.got Good Node Growth Though.i Only Have The 1 Light,400w Hps&mh.i Am On The Eye Hortilux Blue Mh Right Now.i Am Awaiting The Can Filter I Ordered To Come As The Odor Is Getting Strong.
This Has Turned Into A Obcession,lol Can't Wait To Get Up N The ,mornings To Check On Them.crazy Huh?sure Would Hurt To Have All Males.shhhh.of What I've Read Her I Am Thinking It Might Be Time To Start The Flowering Stage.do You Think So?after Reading Many Posts And Answers I Know I Must Get Some Other Type Nutes For The Flowering Stage.i Have Used Nothing Other Than Mg Soil And Feed Since Starting Seeds.i Started With 8 Seeds And They All Came Up And I Broke 2 And Knocked 1 Off The Porch Railing,clumsy.so With The Expert Advice From All Of You I Feel Bettewr About This Project.

Most of the time you wont get pre flowers till its bin in veg for atleast a few months. But every strain is difrent. You will know for shor after its bin in flower for a week or two.

Yes i think you should go ahead and start flowering. But you should order nutrients first. If your not sure where to go and what to buy just tell me how much your willing to spend. You can go with Fox Farms "you want the big bloom and the tiger bloom, and if you have the extra dough grab the 3 additives" which is always good. Or you can grab some BC hydro nutrients "Recipe For Success Starter Kit" which i would suggest its only like 30 and it comes with all types of goodies. You just have to be careful with these in MG. Its all up to you. Tell me this. How long has it bin in the MG soil? I ask because usually you don't want to give it nutrients in the first 3 months. So if i were you i would switch your lights to 12/12 and leave the MH in untill you see the sex of the plants thin switch to the HPS.

hi timmy,yes i need to know what to buy for the flowering stage.money is not a problem there.this is the main reason i haven't even thought of putting them in flower.i haven't got my tent completely set up yet.i have the tent,lights set up,but i ordered another blower for the heat problem i was having.i can not close the tent now because it gets to 100 degrees quick.so i have to leave the front open while the lights are on now.still gets to 85-90 with a fan blowing in the door.i ordered another fan and filter.got them today but they had to back order the flanges to hook it all up.lot of good it did me to get what they did send.i also have the one fan exhausting out the top.i should have everything by monday,hopefully.i am wanting to go to the hydro shop tomorrow to get the nutes i need for the flower stage.please tell me the best there is.i am growing in soil also.
i've had them in mg for probably 6-7 weeks,since planting them.lucky i haven't burnt them.i was feeding pretty regular with mg until i found this thread.i also bought some worm castings and mixed with the soil a couple weeks ago.
please give me a complete list of what i need and i will get it tomorrow.i ordered some more seeds and really want to get thru with these plants.i do not know what they are.a guy i met gave me only 8 seeds and wants me to split with him.he can not plant this yr. due to his grandson being with him for the summer.says its good stuff though.i smoked some of his and it was killer.
you guys don't know how fortunate i feel about finding this site.looking forward to learning alot from you.
