Everytime I try to save a penny, I get these massive headaches.

I just bought a few bags of this MG in ground soil instead of my usual FF mix. So, I start making my soil mix and I go on autopilot tossing a little of this and a little of that in. Then I realize, all MG soils have nutes in it already .

I go to the web site and see how they recommend mixing this bag soil with native soil. Should I still go half an half with some soil? Should I toss in another bag of MG soil to cut down on the amount of ferts in it? Anyone have any ideas on how to use this soil correctly?

hpnestly you should never pick upmg soil.....it sux and it def not organic...after going all out with organics why mess it up now.. i suggest ditching that soil and getting something better...

FF oceanic forest all the way bro, thats what i use. i remember seeing something about it being like 60 - 70% organic. not the reason i bought it. the reason i bought it is the already added in stuff to take care of feeding for 2 months

I started using the crap on my early grow. Just picked it up without even thinking. I mean, I knew better! Anyway, I just flushed the heck out of the soil. That seemed to help. Dunno if it actually did.

try getting some stuff.......... i can't remember what is called comes in a lil white container kinda looks like a 4 cycle motor oil container. it flushes salts and other things out of the soil and of the roots.

FF is what I used to swear by. However, as my knowledge and understanding of soil composition expands, I was interested to delve into something new. After a little more thought after posting this thread, I have decided use the mix I have made. I only made my base mix today so it isn't hot by any means. My little secret and newest addition is a handful of moldy buds. Hopefully this will give a jump start to the mycorrhizael side of soil micro life.
