Two-week old flower question

There are several plants (bag seeds from decent stuff) showing flowers for about 2 weeks, maybe a little longer, but the plants have just a minor skunky smell. Will this odor increase as buds age? Last year I had a couple plants who were skunky even before flowers started and they ended up to be kick *** after 8 weeks flower. I guess I'm just concerned that I have a fairly week batch. Now I know why it is recommended to get quality seeds.

Yes, the smell with increase significantly during the final weeks of budding. Aaaahh......I love that smell! Mine have five weeks left and are starting to smell wonderful.
