Ok so its hydro if you start them hydro can you put them in soil after they are rooted?

I’ve never done it before but just watched a YouTube on doing it with a tomato plant. I would think it may suffer just a bit from the stress of going from water to soil but I think they would come back quickly.

Sure can! I've done it many times.
I've transplanted many plants from water to soil with no problems. Just keep them wet for a bit until they get use to the dirt.
My Mother in law god rest her soul loved growing herbs in those.

Usually when I see clones being rooted, It is in some hydro contraption like that one and its like 70.00 off
So I know a lot of people on this forum grow inside. What do you do when your plants grow all the way up to the top of the lights?
Bend them until they snap
I guess I could take them off the table and put them on the floor. It would give me another couple feet.
You gently squeeze the stem where you want the bend 1st, then slowly bend them over

I keep them cropped. I've never had one to touch the lights. Outdoors when they touch the top of the pot pen, I hook a wire about a foot down from the top and pull 'em over. You could do the same with indoor plants that get unruly.
Its like 6 inches
Now they have more room
So I should put up foil on the walls?

White plastic that you can buy cheap at any big box hardware type store, or even paint the walls white. Foil doesn't really reflect the light like some people think. White works better.
